Sheet Vinyl (“Linoleum”)

Pic_For_Pg_LinoleumSheet vinyl is a resilient flooring material that captures the look of hardwood, ceramic/porcelain tile, marble or stone for a fraction of the cost and without the hassle of a time consuming installation. One of the major advantages of sheet vinyl flooring is that it has virtually no maintenance requirements, as this hypoallergenic material is resistant to moisture, mold and mildew and only requires occasional sweeping or mopping. Further, sheet vinyl is extremely durable, as it does not fade or stain, and is resistant to denting.

Although often referred to as linoleum, sheet vinyl has several distinct advantages. For example, sheet vinyl is resistant to moisture. In contrast, moisture can cause linoleum to curl upwards around the edges, and extreme differences in temperature can cause linoleum to break. Sheet vinyl, however, is a non-breakable substance that can be installed below grade.

Sheet vinyl flooring comes in a variety of designs and thicknesses. At Kaspa Carpet, we stock thousands of yards of sheet vinyl from the leading manufacturers so that regardless of your flooring project, we will have the material ready and waiting with only a moment’s notice.
